    Major Game Conventions

Doesn't it feel like when you watch CES, E3, TGS, NGD, or BC doesnt it make you say. " Dang, I wish I was there " and I mean yeah, dont you wish you where there, instead of being infront of the TV, or infront of the computer watching either IGN's or Gamespots live feed's of the whole show. For another reason, you dont want to see people play, you want to play the game yourself and with other people or by yourself with other people watching you play the game while you show off your moves playing that fancy game on the show room all the time. But instead your mostly stuck there at home, since you either have work or school tommorow because the convention is on the week day rather than on the weekend. And to only know that some shows are private and need an invite to get in ( like a party on wow, you need an invite to get in ), and to only know in the end that they didnt make as much profit as they did in there last convention because not everyone they invited actually came to the whole convention. On the other hand, they sometimes have it open to the public so people and gamers around the world can actually come to play the new and upcoming games that are about to come out in a few months or years, because they add a little hype everytime someone plays it, or if Gamespot, G4, or Ign broadcasts it, and only to know that some people really like it and hype it. Until in the end when they rate it doesnt much concede to your knowlage of the game thinking of it being great. To add to that, some people say negetive things about it, unto which brings some people down ( like myself ) only to save the game from being hyped to much or not.

Everytime a Major Game Convention comes to town, its always or sometimes going to be in the same place at the same time, since they feel sort of cheap and dont know where to host the whole game show at all. And people who live near the conventions are sometimes lucky if they actually have the time to drive or bike, all the way to downtown just so they can get into blizzcon or E3 ( used to ). But hey, without the laziness of us being on the computer most of the time, Gamespot or Ign, can barley air there live shows from time to time because they dont have much users watching the shows they put up for the veiwers ( but what ponders to me is that the whole thing is sort of boring to watching, since you just sitting there being fed info all the time ) . Also for some people here on gamespot, shouldn't we get emblems for every live feed we watch, since from my past experience on gamespot you always got a emblem just for watching it. And in the meanwhile when your watching it, they have the question thing for when you want your question answered from the developers, but to only know that your question didnt get picked because they just try to find something else rather than yours to read out to the developers about that game you want. So to sum up the whole thing, Live feeds are great, just that the whole experience of actually playing the game that you wanted is ruined because someone else is playing it rather than you. At the same time when your at the convention you really dont get all that private stuff that you always wanted to know from the developers, from watching the live feed. So all in all both experiences are great, just not everything you wanted from the whole convention isn't ofered to you.

So to leave of some words of wisdom

" Only to matter about other's, rather than yourself"

    I Think I Just Lost 1 Friend

Well to be more Specific I meant in school. *sigh* and his name is Desmond Tung, hes Laos, I think, or something else I forgot. So it all started with one problem I always had, my backpack which is freakin big sticking out of the locker like a green thumb, is just asking to be stolen. More likley over the past few days, it hasnt been stolen until this morning, the only things that were stolen where my cloths, only to expect that my clothes where back in my locker. So I was sort of happy that Desmond didnt laugh at my but he gave me chills and made me kept me thinking and worrying about my stuff being stolen, until it came real. DANG!! well I understand hes trying to protect my stuff, but the real thing is I dont have my new stuff yet, and to be real I cant open a lock. Dang it takes me back to the 8th grade unto which I would get my lock, until then it took me about 1 hour to unlock the dang thing to get my stuff luckily it was 6th period, and my PE teacher unlocked it for me. Which leads to a few reasons why I cant lock my locker, followed by the backpack thing. Also during the whole day I always thought of the internet being my friend since I have tons of friends on here and not alot out here in RL. More likley Im just a puppet watching life as it twists and turns and watching the lives go to waste as time succeds. So a little bit earlier this morning without the whole stealing scene, and everyone was leaving me, desmond, vincent, nate, & arnold were talking and then desmond mentioned " did you bring a lock" so I made sort of a lie to actually tell him I got a lock but I didnt bring it. But as I said before I can barley open those locks where you have to turn the knob or wheel. So he yelled "SEE YOU DONT LISTEN, THATS WHY I DONT WANT TO TALK TO YOU!!" so he whispered to make me look dumb and prove hes point that I didnt hear, so he whispered to everybody as if I wasn't there and said.

"see he doesnt listen" then arnold told me "see he doesnt listen". Dang I felt really dumb and during PE I had thoughts of him yelling more at me saying that im not his friend no more. *sigh* I felt even more depressed just thinking about it, and to only know that he knows so much people, and when I mean by people I mean like the group of friends I now know. Would a friend really do that, yell at your friend like that, saying that he doesnt listen, dang so more likley hes the master and im the servant im suppose to listen to all he says, and more likley I choose yes because in my thoughts still I still think of him as my Best Friend.

Man, I remember back then in elementary we where true friends, ^_^, also same goes with my friend shahbaz (hes here on gs just not on as often as me ), but we dont have any conflicts so hes still cool. As to continue with my friend Desmond, we used to talk about games, and other stuff mostly games. but until then a few terms in middle school, he said, " Dont you have anything to talk about instead of games ", hehe guess someone hit puberty first, but I felt hurt at that, at the same time im trying to ignore it. So then high school struck, and I felt happy that des was in my pe class, but until now its all bad, and I feel terrible and having bad week.

Well to leave off something to remind people

"Whos there to talk to if you the only one"

    Paying The Subscription

Doesnt some site go free with those subscription, and to only know that sooner or later that you have to pay for it, or if you feel like paying like what gamespot has come up, you can either choose to pay for those extra stuff. Or you just have to go ahead and just pay for it. Hhhmm thinking back then when I was about 6 or 5 I wanted to sign up for the disney's web site, only till a certain point that disney is so cheap, well atleast some of the things are free, but dang disney can be cheap. Oh yeah, also those Norton scruity that come with your laptop or new computer is juts begging for you to pay for it, so what do you do... Dont know it's up to you. So in even terms sites need to make money for either a company or for there own website. So what do some people resort to, bypass the payment system so they can get in for free, or just find something else to do.

As of thought most teens can't get a job to pay for these stuff until a certain age, now remeber to what some of my teachers said, that back then when you where atleast 14 or 13 years of age you could work for money, now you need to atleast be in the 11th grade, or be a senior to atleast get a job. I dont know if it vary's in different states if so, tell me. At the same time, some teens resort to doing other stuff like, playing Maple Story (-_- unto which I dislike) or anything that is of a free MMO to other people more likley I think that Maple story regins top at the free MMO thing, since alot of kids and alot of teens are playing it. And more likley those free MMO's can be easily hack because of that weak firewall that the developers put up, and its just asking to be hacked, and I've seen the same fire wall in almost every free MMO I have ever played before.
