  Blowing Minds With the Force

  I got Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on my PS3, and i honestly have to say it was a BIT of a disappointment. i am a HUGE Star Wars fan and i love the story behind the game. the graphics are simply beautiful and its just a hell of fun to blow the living guts out of things. but not all games are perfect... this game is filled with glitches, and it would have been fun if we had trophies to show our competetive side. the biggest problem is targetting. i hate trying to arget my enemy then throw the object on him, it always goes in a different direction.

  but that still doesn't takw the fun away from star wars, and that's what i love about the game... no matter how many glitches are in the game, you'll stick with them till the end.

  What do you think are the BIGGEST disappointments of this year?

  There have been many disappointments this year to me, but 2 of the most fatal are:

  1. Starcraft II being delayed to '09: I guess, for PC RTS lovers, that the biggest disappointments was Starcraft II being delayed to 2009. This game is the sequel to one of the best games in RTS history, and anyone would want to get their hands on a game like that as soon as possible. I guess we're going to have to wait another year for this... and i hope it was for good reasons.

  

  2. Killzone 2 / LittleBigPlanet being CONSTANTLY DELAYED: 2 of the biggest PS3 exclusives have been constantly delayed, which was really getting on my nerves. Killzone 2 was scheduled for Holiday of '08, but adding up all the delays postponed it to February '09. LittleBigPlanet was scheduled for release on July, but was postponed to Oct. 21.

  

  I'm sure I'm not the only one with these heart-breaking disappointments.

  What are 3 games you think ESRB mis-rated?

  If i had to pick 3 of the million games this company has mis-rated with MY OWN OPINION, i would pick:

  1. Assassin's Creed: My rating: T - ESRB's rating: M: Blood, Strong Language, Violence. This game takes place when Europe is engulfed in the Dark Ages, so obviously there has to be some violence. The violence is not to the extent of making this game a Mature game. The blood can be turned off, and most of the language is da*n or s**t.

  2. Halo 3: My rating: T - ESRB's rating: M: Blood and Gore - Intense Violence - Strong Language. This is probably one of the most over-rated games to-date. Everyone is discussing the fact that this game should be T-rated. Sure there is a little blood, but there is ABSOLUTELY NO GORE! The violence is not intense. Intense means extreme, and i wouldn't call the violence EXTREME, just plain violent. The language you should worry about is online, with the potty-mouthed kids who curse everytime they die.

  

  3. Fable 2: My rating: T - ESRB's rating: M: Blood - Violence - Use of Alcohol - Mild Language - Sexual Themes. The first thing that would catch parents' eyes is the Sexual Themes phrase. What they don't know is that the sex parts only happen is the character wishes to do so. There is no part of the single campaign where you have to have sex for information or something. That would be stupid. The blood is little, i agree on the violence (with the different types of weapons, the inclusion of guns, the different types of violent spells), and the language would mostly be "da*n" or "s**t". Who cares about the alcohol, really?!
