  I just got a ne w PS3 OMG!!! oh wait theres........

  OK i just baought my new ps3 and im so happy but one thing i cant get over are those pdates, i mean come on they are truly the devils spawn, ive been wanting to play metal gear online for a couple of days now but the 3-4 hour updates are truly killing me. another update i couldnt stand was the initial console update, it was long..... LLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!. but other than that i believe its one of the best consoles (apart from the 360) and it was a great buy i dont regret. i just wish there werent so many dang updates.

  The begining of a new era in video gaming??

  Whatching how yesterday a new console was announced, i really was left open hearted. for all of you who dont know about the console. It is a new and revolutionary idea of streaming video games, without any loading times, and at really high graphics settings, with no need to upgrade your console. Of course im missing all the detail, but basically that is what it is.

  But as I was saying, this console really left me astonished, if only there was a word that could really describe my feelings. The consoles idea of streaming games directly, with no need of a disc, or download is really WOW. ok so now i have been deviating a lot from the point. this revealment really made me think, what does the future hold for us gamers? a simple question that could have been asked many years ago and one couldnt imagine that we would be where we are today. And ironically enough today we have been introduced into what i believe is the new era of video gaming.

  Discs are a thing of the past, and what about our consoles. People are constantly pushing themselves to the limit in which they really cant go any further, the same with technology. and after seeing what might become of all of us gamers, i am really nervous and excited in many ways. maybe in 50 years you will be telling your grandchildren that you experienced the launch of an entirely new era of gaming and technology.

  so basically to end this, i would just like to say how one day I believed that we would be stuck in the console wars for ever, between the same 3 companies, untill a new company poped up out of the blue and showed how we might be wrong about our predictions. this article has 2 points the first one is to comment on my inicial reaction from the new console that just got announced. secondly it is to think about the future and what it may hold for us and how it might change from one day to the next. i know many people wont get what i mean but I dont care, this is my opinion on a subject and nothing else. I hoped you enjoy reading this as much as i enjoyed writing it.

  this might be late but its definatley worth it

  now the year has ended and we make our new years resolutions and look back at what we did for our past year (excuse my spelling especially if im missing some letters i tend to do that), well as i was saying i looked back at my previous year and thought of games, music, and life in general.

  about games one plays many games in a year but there are some that can really stick to you as if they were the only ones you ever wanted to play over and over again. that tended to happen a lot this year. games such as dead space, braid, spore, etc... lets start off with a game like dead space, it was the first game to litteraly want to quit the game and trn my lights on in fear a necromorph will ever come and kill me while playing it, yet it was so well made that it made me wanting more and more, one can never forget the first time this happens (i really am a scared person, but ive never had to quit a game because of it i just dont enjoy it).

  moving to a game like braid, it literally takes home the gold in my books especially since it makes you think and take your time, but at the same time make you want to know what happens to the princess, the story can not be possibly be described in words but if i had to say it id say its one of the best ever. the inovative gameplay is really a thing to be astonished by, it makes you think and makes you feel really happy and warm inside once you get a hard peice.

  spore it really made me feel like ive never played anything like this, partly because i hadnt. still it creates fun for many hours and still make you feel happy with its great visual design and friendlyness, add good player tools and your done.

  this post isnt all about my games this year it is also about my year. now moving on to music, i found out about many of my now favorite artists or became a true fan as is with acdc. i was really looking forward to this year sice the new acdc album came out and really exceeded my expectations. i also discovered artists such as joe satriani or truly became fond of the who.

  in my regular life this year i returned to my school which was a very big thing for me it felt like coming home all over again, this really improved my vision of life for some reason.

  now for the upcoming year (2009) i am really hopeful about it, it makes me see a light at the end of the tunnel. first off i want to start with school, this is the year in which traditionally peple here in mexico (idk about the rest of the world) go to study abroad for one year. it has really gotten me excited and nervous at the same time, beeing a sophomore thousands of miles away from his home and country really feels like a really big responsibility, then again so does life.

  game wise i really cant say since its too early in the ear and i havent heard a lot about the gaming industry (xbox 360) yet. same with music.

  ive also made many other new year resolutions but i would like to keep those personal and for me only if you dont mind. so basically what im trying to say is that a new year holds a lot of new options, and really is a time for a new start, a fresh begining.

  i hoped you enjoyed reading this as much as i enjoyed writing it
