Games
You gotta be a damn good game. I mean you have to have it all: Good story, easy and intuitive (possibly fun) controls, maybe add new feature's thathaven't yetbeen explored in gaming, but, above all else, gameshave tobe an example of art. Stories are easy to write. So you would think that plots in video games should be easy to come up with. Ifa gamedoesn't have an intriguinging story, it don't mean **** to me. How you play the game is directly related to the controller set-up your using. Tony Hawk's franchise, for example, has a very basic, functional, and fundamental control system where asSteel Battalion has a crazy amount of options, decisions, and methods to playing the game, too hard, not fun, you loose! Technology changes every day and with it the games should change. New ideas mean new possibilities, new possibilities means more in-depth gameing.Plan and simple. Gamescan bea formof art. This kind of art takes many, many artists doingwhat they do best to create a world outside ofour own. Games like I Love Katamari is a perfect example of a game that is not only simple, fun, intuitive, but also a work of art. With this, i hope that my criticisms are not just passed off as rants, or attempts to get a name. Instead i hope that you, the gamer, and the peoplebehind the games, see video games as more then just a time waster.
