  college football

  i watch college football every saturday... there is usually a good game on abc and i also have espn360. you can get espn360 by logging on to espn360.com. if your isp (mine is at&t) carries it you can watch a ton of football games on your computer for free. my tv only has an antennae so i only get local channels. espn360 is very cool for me so i can watch more games.

  i can't believe usc lost to oregon state. that was a shocker. now usc is no longer #1. they dropped down to #9. they were my favorite team. because i am a big pac-10 fan. i like all the teams in the pac-10 especially the cal bears. my grandpa and uncle graduated from cal so naturally i am a cal fan. there are lots of great games on. you can pretty much pick a team in the top 10 and that will be a great game. oklahoma is looking good.

  cal is going to play usc and that is going to be a war. cal has lost only 1 game and that was against maryland. i really don't know how they lost that game but they did.

  whatever is on abc this saturday is probably what i will watch. i would like to see a florida game. tim tiebo is going to win the heisman trophy i am sure. he is a very good qb for florida. and don't forget lsu. they are good as well.

  don't forget about penn state. they got a really good football team. they beat illinois and knocked them out of the top 20. so i think the teams to watch are oklahoma, florida, usc, and lsu.

  and i can't believe georgia lost their game! that was unexpected. i really think they are a good team. they are now #11. i think another team that will do good is oregon. i think oregon is the second best team in the pac-10. behind usc. i would be very surprised if usc lost another game.

  xbox live arcade

  there are a bunch of games i play on xbox live arcade. some of my favorites are mutant storm, assault heroes, and marble blast. these games can be played multi-player on xbox live and are tons of fun. another fun, free game is aegis wing which is tons of fun to play online. you can have up to 4 players, with a common objective. i also like some other arcade games like 3d mini golf which is a great little game.

  some of the new ones on xbox live are fable 2 pub games which you can win money to be used in the new fable 2 xbox 360 game. also, 1942 joint strike looks good. i played the new galaga game and it's aweful. i don't like it and i am not buying it.

  we have a thread about xbox live arcade games in the xbox live union. where we talk about some of the good ones. i recommend you read it and download some of them.

  there are a few free games available. some that i can think of are hexic, aegis wing, and undertow. these are pretty good and they are free! you can't go wrong there! so check it out when you have time. some great games there.

  a friend of mine, arline6, is going to be getting a 360 soon. with the new price cuts they are a very good deal. you can get one for only $199. (that one does not have a hard drive.)

  i used to download arcade games for my pc. but the games on xbox live are even better. you should try them.

  games i may or may not buy

  there are a few games that i might get depending on if i have a job soon. those games are cod world at war and far cry 2 and project origin. i'll start with cod world at war. i have been playing cod since the first one came out in 2003. it was a cool game. played it alot and it was fun. the expansion that came out a short time later, called united offensive was high on my list of games to get as well. with cod and the expansion there was lots of gaming to be done. which is fine by me. i know that treyarch is the developer for the new cod game. i would have liked infinity ward but i guess they had to go with treyarch. still, i have read previews and seen the trailers. a very nice looking game. the flamethrowers look great. you can set a bunker on fire and it will slowly burn to the ground. i would like to try that!

  the second game on my "might-get list" is far cry 2. me and my buddies in the fps union have been watching this one closely. it's being developed by ubisoft montreal. and they are making one really good game. gamespot just did a hands on preview of the game with a short mp video showing the mp action and it looks cool. if i do get it, it will be the 360 version so i can play on xbox live.

  the third game is project origin. this game is now called fear 2 project origin. i read in a news article that monolith got the rights to the fear name. fear was such an awesome game to play. they offered the multi-play version as a free download and there were tons of people playing it. again, i will probably get the 360 version if i get this one.

  some others that i am interested in are star craft 2 and diablo 3. i would have to get a really good job to buy these! my pc is really good and could probably handle them easily. and man, star craft 2 looks really good. i would like to get something for my pc. at least one game for my pc. i spent alot of money on this thing.
