Soon The Katamari Will Be mine!
Tuesday October 16th. Thats the day I've been counting down to. The news that Beautiful Katamari was being released on the 360 is what finally swayed my decision to buy one and I've been a little impatient about the lack of news until now. Hell, I'd still like GS to review it, but I guess it's too far under the radar for them. Now I just need to find out how to leave work early. =)- Posted Oct 13, 2007 5:56 pm PT

Must I WoW?
The main reason for my inconsistent posting history here is that I'm fickle. I love WoW but then I get really "blah" with it and I never know when I'll be in what mood. For instance, my PC died at the beginning of the month and I just now got back online. While the only thing I thought of before was "damn I have to get back on the game" I signed on earlier and I just wasnt all that interested. I'm actually way more excited about Beautiful Katamari now. So I guess it's ironic that I'm in my video game mode and they decide to shut down the video store I work at. No more free games. =( Such is life. At least I get my fix of Katamari and the Simpson's Game is coming soon, too!- Posted Sep 30, 2007 10:36 pm PT

E3..... Woot.
I just can't bring myself to get excited about E3. In the past it was like some huge carnival of awesomeness where sweaty folks would jostle for weird swag and complain about why the booth babes were/were not part of the "E3 Culture." It was like the friday night of the week before school started when they'd show the previews of all the cool Saturday morning cartoons to come. That may just be showing my age (I'm not that old), but it's the only thing I can think of to compare. All the cool stuff I'd have to look forward to in one great place. Id watch the reports online and on TV (one of the few times I'll touch G4 since they killed off TechTV) and I'd suddenly actually go to a newsstand.
Now, I just can't work myself up. I know we're still getting info about new games, but it's just not as exciting. And it's not the out-of-place-seeming models or the creepy guys oogling them while simultaneously trying to collect the whole set of Mario shot glasses that I'm saying I miss. I had just always hoped to be one of those folks running around like a little kid with the ooh-ing and the aah-ing and just the slightest bit of drool in the corner of my mouth. Although, if you ever come by a Wario or Bowser shot glass, think of me, too.
