  Yet another gripping update was released today by the No More Room In Hell mod team. Not only have they reached the internal beta testing stage of their fantastic mod, but...

  "Following that we will create a thread for beta testing applications on the forums for expanding the testing team."

  If this sounds like your sort of game, then keep checking the forums for more details, closer to the time.

  On top of this, the team presented us with twenty one new images, all of which are looking excellently modelled and textured, including: some examples of the modelling, intense fight scenes and four breathtaking new maps.

  Empires Mod - Version Update

   
  

  The team over at Empires Mod have just released the newest version of their already excellent mod. Version 1.073 is a server-only patch and can be found here. It fixes an exploit and also fixes the ability where commanders could target hidden troops.

  A new trailer was also released in an effort to gain support for the mod, in the Mod of the Year awards, and having watched it I'm convinced they stand a chance of winning. You can find the trailer on the update page, or a more direct link can be found here. The team also assure us that:

  "Work is still moving steadily on 1.08, and we've even brought on one more animator to speed up the process."

  To prove this they've released a sneak preview of a few images, with a grenade being thrown and the activation of a landmine.

     

  Anyone who hasn't heard of the Empires mod, or doesn't know what it is, should check out the info page and then, if you like what you see, download the mod from the client page. It's easier than ever now, as we are told:

  "The download page has been revamped to make downloading and installing Empires much easier for those who have never done so before"
