Just build my self a New RIG! Very happy!
Hello my friends! Thank you for checking out mylittle page! If you can please leave a comment regarding the build i did.
Last systemi had was all AMD setup and I'm a big fan of ATI but i thought why not try something else this time around.Soi decided to go with Intel CPUand Nvidia graphics card, as for the motherboard i always get ASUS. I got the parts from NewEgg.com, I'm sure everyone knows about this site and its awesome prices. My budget was around $900 bucks, i already had
Windows 7 OS and a AOC 23" LEDmonitor,Raptop mouse and Logitech keyboard, Logitech speakers and an externalSoundBlaster XFI sound cardso i was set with these thingsand what i spend was more then enough for a really nice setup (i didn't want to spend anymore since i recently bought a gaming laptop for $1200 couple months ago from NewEgg also, and when you add the parts that i already bought previously its comes out to be more then 1k). I received the parts in around 3 days, NewEgg ships stuff pretty fast. This was Monday and i had final exam so after i got back to my apartment from college it was time to unpack my goodies and assemble everything.
It took me around 2 hours to get everything together, i was drinking some beer and was not in a hurry at all. Afterr the first boot and checking the BIOS i installed the OS and was updating the computer for few hours. Everything went smoothly and i installed my first game "Crysis 2" i love the way this rig handles all games, including "The Witcher 2" :shock
n Ultra w/supersampling off still it looks gorgeous and runs very nice. So far i love the setup , and i would give it a solid 9.9/10 no complaints, i just need some better speakers (i have my eye on Klipsh 2.1 set that i saw at BestBuy and will be buying soon). Here is complete list of components that my rig consists of:
x1. Intel Core i5-2400 Sandy Bridge 3.1GHz (3.4GHz Turbo Boost) (CPU)

a little review on my newest laptop MSI GT660.
Pros:Beautiful screen, awesome lightning, Core i7 740QM, Nvidia 285M GTX, 6GB DRR3, very awesome sound with headphones and the Dynaudio speakers are the best i have ever heard in a laptop and im a Electronic Music Producer so i know what im talking about fellas this laptop is my favorite so far and it looks very stylish love the USB layout, MSI definitelly had gamers in mind when crafting this design. I had played every demanding game on this laptop, including Crysis 1 and Warhead on Max/Enthusiast settings, Crysis 2 on Hard Core and i even plugged it into my 50" Bravia 1080p and it was still smooth as butterfly without any hickups Metro 2033 and so on. Trust me if you decide to buy this laptop you will not regreat it you will love this thing like i do.
There are buttons you can press for automatic overclocking the Turbo mode but i dont think it works, best way to do that is though Nvidia System tools, Eco Modes, BlueTooth, there is a button for extreme cooling and many more.Cons:Only one thing and its the AC adapter its like a brick, i bring the laptop sometimes to college so the AC adapter almost takes half of my bag but thats the only thing.
Other Thoughts:I have owned a ASUS G73Jh the BB model returned it because it was overheating, before that a Asus g60JH and that was a dissaster completely, Asus g51 it was decent i liked it but thats the only asus i like out of the three i owned and i love this MSI 10x better then anything i had before. From now on im a huge MSI fan.
