I'm sorry to be so fickle, but at least Lizzie got some $$$ for her Chicago con ticket off e-bay or LJ or something! I'm not going after all! I hate this and am masssively jealous for all of you young things with all this disposable income that you can travel all about and drink too much and carouse and...
I know, I know I promised Shazzie to help her keep all the h#$$cats in line, but ultimately I decided that I just couldn't justify spending that kind of $$$ on myself when I needed to make car payments and the like...
Not trying to make anyone feel sorry for me, seriously, go and have a great time while you're young and can afford it!!! Take lots of pictures and post them immediately where we can all see them!! (Pix probably left last week 'cause it takes forever to fly here, think Shazz said she was leaving Friday, Lizzie's probably gone too...)
Isn't there a con in Florida next year that a bunch of you went to...?Anyhoo, off to be a respectable married lady now (hey, it could happen!
) , spend time with my hubby and kids, be a sane and sober and responsible member of society...

So I have totally missed everybody!!! Moving was a bear, but we're here safe and sound, our house didn't get damaged in the hurricane, so that's good!
Okay, don't think I like the new tv.com changes!
I just figured my way around the other site, now they have to go and muck with it????
Anyhoo, I hadn't check my e-mail in like 3 weeks til today, it was ugly! But I was virtuous
and got rid of all the junk, at least, so I feel better! Computer's not hooked up at home 'cause the phone company guy said he couldn't go into the attic to run the wiring over to that wall... I'm like, hello, is this not YOUR JOB??!!????
But the tv's working, although I missed the epi with Hendrickson back, the few reviews I've seen were not positive...
I could ramble on and on, as many of you know, but I won't! I have an hour for lunch now at my new workplace, yippee!! So more time to check in on you all!
So I'm gonna poke around other people's blogs, see what's up! Talk to you all soon!
Love, Ange (sticky Texas hugs to all!)

No mail or anything!!!!
hmmmm...... Okay, I'm over it! 'Cause I got other anxieties now!!!
OMG, I am totally moving to Houston!!!! This time next month I should be in a new place, 2000 miles from everything & everybody I've ever know, except hubby and the kids, of course! I've turned in the paper work and gotten THE CALL from the 'relocation specialists', gotta start giving them info so they can give me the $$$ to move, $4,750 right off the top for 'temporary living expenses', gotta have an 'exploratory trip' to FIND a place to live and put the deposit down...Stressing!!! Couldn't sleep last night, trying to figure out how everything is going to get cleaned up and packed up in time to move! Trying to do the regular things like dinner and laundry that need to still get done along with all the new stuff!!!

**deep breaths, Ange, deep breaths!!!***
But hey, plus side, that much closer to Jared & Jensen!!!
It's about 2 hours drive from Houston to San Antonio, a little more than that Houston to Dallas, so, hey, the stalking can commence!!!!
(Pix probably thinks I'm kidding!!!!) So, Engel, when are you coming to visit? Everyone's invited, of course! So this means I can't go to the Chicago con!!! Not that it was going to happen for me anyway, but, rats!!!!

I may need medication soon! I might be moving on premiere night for 'SN', whatever will I do????

Last Sunday was my birthday (let's just say I'm celebrating anniversaries of my 29th and leave it at that, although some of you know maybe...about how old I am, I keep saying that Shazz and Lizzie and Rie and me should be the 'Women of a Certain Age' club...
) went with my 2 bff's, my hubby and one bff's hubby to see 'The Dark Knight'... Omigosh, what an amazing movie!!!
2 1/2hrs, grabs you right from the beginning and never lets go!! Chicago as Gotham has never looked better (not that I've ever been to Chicago, but I digress...) What more can be said about Heath Ledger's Joker? Completely fantastic, back to good(bad) old Joker as just...evil! Not possessed, not misunderstood or crazy, EVIL!!!
Good to see Cillian Murphy's Scarecrow again, however briefly, 'cause that character really creeped me out in 'Batman Begins'! Michael Caine sterling as usual as unflappable butler Alfred, protecting his charge Bruce Wayne (when he burned Rachel's letter to Bruce at the end. ooooohhhh, sniffle!!
) Gary Oldman, always love Gary Oldman even more as Jim Gordon, Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhardt (I'm sure I'm spelling his name wrong!
) as Two-Face...I liked that the violence was mostly implied, not shown directly on screen, someone on some other blog mentioned Joker making a pencil disappear...
, no swearing, and no s*x, what's up with that??? Bruce Wayne should have gotten something at least once, IMHO!!!
So, hello to all, the whole moving to Houston thing is still up in the air, should get some more info next week!
Ciao!! Summery California hugs and kisses,
Ange

So I am behind on the new stuff, but married people can't afford to go see first-run movies!

But I have seen the three summer blockbusters starting with "I"- 'Iron Man' (loved it), 'Indiana Jones & the Search for the Senior Discount' (oops, I mean '& The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' ) (okay, but STUPID with the nuclear bomb test thing and come on, ALIENS???? Give me a freakin' break!!!
) ,and just the other day, 'The Incredible Hulk' (Ed Norton not as hunky as Eric Bana, but still tall dark & handsome, and the little goatee thing? Yummy!
) Seems to be a theme here!

Robert Downey, Jr.
Mmm, scruffy and a bit graying!
Harrison Ford, getting old, but still, a real man!
Ed Norton...**dreamy sigh!**

P.S. to Suze-I have no idea why a tee-shirt like that is called a wife-beater, and I am American!
Some...aggravating news from work, my call center might be closing, so if I want to keep my job I might have to move to Houston Texas!!!
Part of me is ready for a change, but I don't know anyone there, and all friends and family are here in California! Nothing's for sure yet, should know more in 2 weeks or so. Any opinions/advice/comments welcome!Love to all, Ange

...By Chantal & iambizzare (sorry, don't know your name/nickname/screen name
), so...You want just 10 random factoids about my life, or ten interesting things about me...? IDK, but here goes!
1. I tried out for 'Jeopardy', got through the first rounds of literally thousands to the 2nd round and met Alex Trebek, he's short, who knew?
2. I once caused a fifteen-story building to be evacuated. Yes, I did, let me explain. I had put a bagel in the toaster in the breakroom at work, and had to leave it to go get logged in. Well, of course the toaster stuck on, made the bagel all smoky and black, set off the fire alarm, and we all had to get out!!! So after the fire department gets there, they track it down, 'Oh, yeah, it was a bagel stuck in the toaster in the lunchroom on the sixth floor', yeah, well, that was me!!

3. I was living in San Francisco for 'The Big One', the earthquake of '89 (I'm probably dating myself here
) ,obviously I survived, but I just love how everyone was all California-y about it, the World Series with the SF Giants and the Oakland A's, the shaking stopped, 30,000 people looked around at each other, no one's hurt, okay, come on, Play Ball!! 4. Never got my degree, I kept changing schools and majors-still think I'd like to be a CSI, just have to get ambitious & go back to school!
5. I'm Okie on my dad's side (that's a person from the state of Oklahoma, for those who may not know) but that part's Irish and Native American (Creek Indian or Choctaw or Cherokee, not exactly sure), and French-Canadian on my mom's side!
6.I am a TOTAL sci-fi geek, raised on classic 'Star Trek' (and the Beatles, but that's a different story!)

7. I almost had a career in radio, they were all ready to sign me up for the school, but I thought college (in S.F.) was a better choice at that time, so... who knows what might have happened?
8. I don't get this whole anti-bacterial/germophobe thing! Sure, wash your hands, but don't be a freak about it!

9. Get me crunk and I can sing a mean Patsy Cline karaoke!
I Fall To Pieces...10. I've always wanted to travel to Tahiti! It just sounds so exotic! White sands, palm trees, blue water! Where's my travel agent?
Thanks for reading!

I figured I'd better do another blog about my uninteresting life, maybe go up to the next level!

Finally got the Disneyland pictures on photobucket, but my mom did something weird so it's like they're photo album pages, and meh, I don't feel like trying to fix it right now! So here goes!

Me and my cute American children, and my mom and step-dad, who paid for the whole Disneyland trip, go them!!!

Me and Dorothy and Ben with various Disney characters, Tigger is an all-time favorite of mine!
Ben climbing rocks, as boys do, he was inspired by that other boy, then us with Captain Hook, very tall, snappy dresser and has good hair, too!

My boy loves me! And Dorothy and Ben with Grandpa on the famous Disneyland train, this last part goes through some old fakey-looking diorama, but with dinosaurs!!!! The boy was thrilled!

The kids with their Nana!
Ben with chocolate all over his face (hmm, that pic is kind of dark so you can't really see), Dorothy with her ice-cream face, and all of us with Pluto, my original Disney fave!Chantal tagged me, I'll have to try to think of 10 somewhat interesting things to tell you all about myself, but some other time! Got to go have lunch now!
Ciao all! Love and smoky kisses from California!

But I read Belle's bloggy and I feel a little better, she always makes me smile! (Ponders stealing quiz...
)So my bank account is overdrawn almost $300 & I have no idea how that happened, my hubby's all p!$$ed off about it, says we're shutting of the cable/DISH whatever, now this is after he jacked up my home computer somehow, it was working Friday after I fixed it from him jacking it up earlier, it worked for me that night, I logged off, he used it again & now it's ever more &$(^#$-up than before!!!!

I'm like, whatever! Who pays the bills around here? (It's me, btw, I'm the only one employed, but that's another story...) I'm busting my butt, working on holidays (For double-time and a half, wOOOt!!) and overtime to pay the bills and maybe get a decent computer, and he's telling me the cable's gonna get turned off??? Oh, no, I DON'T THINK SO, MISTER!!!!!

But! I did manage to at least get rid of my old banner, now let's see if I can put up a new one, or if TV.com will keep saying 'error on page'....
I was trying to use a new avi, I know Suze will appreciate it, oral fixation Jensen...

but the 'Preferences' page doesn't accept it!!! **sighs**
Gonna go try again, thanks for reading and hearing me b!tch & moan and complain & vent, but I gotta do it somewhere!!!

Just How Hot Is Jensen Ackles Anyway?

A bit of backstory, I was encouraging Toxic the other day to go ahead and be fan-girly, enjoy it while you're young and single, heck, I'm quite sure my fangirling over a man much too young for me is keeping me young!

Sorry, I digress... It reminded me of a time six months ago or so here at work, I was having a conversation with a co-worker, a lovely young woman, avowed le$bi&n, been with her partner any number of years, bless them they were so adorable together... Sorry, digressing again!

We got to talking about TV, she said her brother watched 'Smallville' and they both started watching 'Supernatural' after it 'cause it looked interesting... At the time there was talk of my department being transferred to Texas (from California, eek!) , so I mentioned that sure, I'd move to Texas if I could bag myself Texas hottie Jensen Ackles...

She said, "Is that the one who plays Dean?" Of course, I told her. "Well," says she, "I might switch back for that myself!"

So, again, I ask all of you out there, just how hot is Jensen Ackles anyway????

Oy, could he be any cuter?!?!??!!!! I don't think so! Said it before, I'll say it again, I am so frackin' HOT for scruffy Jensen!!!!

So my home computer apparently just needed a vacation! (Or the threat of her being replaced made her behave!
) My hubby just bullied through the part on the start-up that said 'improper shutdown' blah blah blah, and now she works perfectly!!!! wOOOOt!!!! Don't know if I'll pop on tonight after watching SN season finale or no...I was extremely underwhelmed by 'Time on My Side'. Good moments, Sam saying to Dean 'We want the same thing, to keep you alive,' but I agree with Dean, what Benton was wasn't human anymore!!!
Although it would have been kinder, IMHO, to cholorform him (Benton) for a nice long sleep, then chop him up and burn the pieces in a nice hot incinerator!!!! On a happier note, according to 'Us' magazine or 'Star' or one of those entertainment-type gossip-y rags
JDMand

Javier Bardem...separated at birth?
Both tall dark & handsome, what's not to like?

Off to see what the boards are saying...

Since my new-to-me home computer cr#pped out on me **sighs**, I have to do all the e-mailing and stuff at one time, and it builds up, believe me!!!!
But I've gotten through everything up to today(Sunday) so now I'm done with that nonsense!!!So, just to make conversation (and get some more action on my blog
) **who said that?!?!??)
, who's you're favorite Disney character? Lately, mine is
Stitch!!!

Man, I've got to go home now and finish the laundry!
I'm working overtime this week, I'll try to check in again!Love to all,

I am going to be a little less egocentric than our lovely Shazz, but not much!

As a phone company employee, I LOVED this episode!!!! Don't let the logo on the trucks fool you, who provides phone service in Ohio? That's right, AT&T, the old Ma Bell, Resistance Is Futile, I'm just warning you now!

Can some smart person who knows how (**gives big puppy dog eyes**) make me an avi of erstwhile phone company central office porn-surfing person Stewie saying to Sam 'That's what you get for messing with the phone company!' ? I would add-B!TCH or something like that to it!!!

Hmmm, a soul-sucking phone company executive?
I thought this show was science-fiction!!!
Now, as to the episode itself, I am underwhelmed. Some good brotherly moments and Dean one-liners (i.e., while looking at the Thomas Edison 'spirit phone'-"As long as the moldys are calling the freshies, this is the best we've got!" ) , but I expected much more tears and angst!!!!
Totally disappointed that it wasn't actually Dad calling, although I had figured as much!Normally love Sera's stories, but this just felt rushed to me, not up to par! And with only, what, 2 or 3 episodes left in this season, WTH is up with next week's, looks like it's dealing with a vivisectionist? Ewwwwwww! (That's someone who cuts you open while you're still alive, btw...)
Enough for now! Ciao all!

Without my husband, thank you very much!!! (Still fighting about it, too...
)
(To be technical, this is actually Walt Disney World, in Florida, but it's still Sleeping Beauty's castle, so close enough!!!)And Disney's California Adventure, it's awesome!!!

They had all these cute shirts and things with Tinkerbell

on them, saying things like 'little pixie' and things like that, it always made me smile and think of our own dear Pixie!!!!

The kids had a great time, they're six(boy) and seven (girl), a perfect age! We thought we'd lost Dorothy at Tarzan's treehouse, but she was fine!
Grrr,
gotta go back to work!'Long Distance Call' on SN this week, there will be much angst!!!

So I'm not here for like, 2 weeks and I go up 25% in level??? Whatthe...?!!??!???
Baseball's a blast, the kids are having a great time, but being eaten alive by moquitoes during evening games. They are so cute in their uniforms!
I was in love with my new-to-me computer, but now she's acting all weird, I can't plug in the digital camera 'cause that makes her freak out & shut down (at least it did once & I'm kinda scared of doing it again!
)My husband had his gall bladder removed last Thursday, so now he has no more gall... as IF!!!! He's even more full of it than ever!!!!
(Sorry, we've been fighting for about a month now, and of course he's right & I'm wrong & no one else could possibly ever be right about this whole situation... I'll try not to rant and bore all of you about it...
)Miss everybody! I've really got to get back here, since (hurray!!!) new epis of SN coming up!!! Can't wait!
Breezy California hugs to all,

) are the smallest! So, go Tigers!!!!If I can figure out how to work the new digital camera, I'll try to post some pics later or tomorrow or this weekend!
Engel and Kimmie and Lizzie & all, have fun at Eyecon!!! **is green with jealousy**

I think I want to do the pic quiz thingy now-do I have to be tagged to do that?

Anyhoo, before I get distracted...Omigosh, Eric Bana so FRACKIN' hot
as King Henry VIII in the movie!!!! Yowza, six-foot-three, bearded, he filled out those big-shoulder outfits men wore back in that day very well!!!!
Big feet and big hands, we all know what that means, right ladies?
(Yes, big boots and big gloves!)
Now, that said, the movie wasn't about him, it was about, yes, the Boleyn girls, Mary (Scarlett Johansen) and Anne (Natalie Portman). And it was also about greed and ambition and treachery and letting men think they actually run things!

Fantastic scenery, and costumes and ohhhhh, the fabric porn! (If you're into that sort of thing, of course!
) Three stars out of four, a total chick film, but Ange says check it out!

and it just wasn't worth it to try to get back on, I didn't feel like wrestling with her!
It's like she knows she's headed for the great e-waste bucket in the sky!

Anyhoo, anyone seen 'The Other Boleyn Girl' yet, with my other major male heartthrob tall dark handsome Australian male goodness fave Eric Bana? **swoons** Six foot three, dark soulful brown eyes, great body, good hair, loving husband, father and family man, what's not to like?

Tell me if you've heard good things about it, pleeeeease?

Anyhoo, I digress. (I seem to do that a lot!
) While I was googling Jensen images yesterday to celebrate the birth of such yummy male goodness, I found this from SciFi.com, I apologize if it's been posted elsewhere before...www.scifi.com/scifimag/sexy07/ackles/

So had an okay weekend with my hubby, we've been fighting for about a week, after I had to take time off of work, upaid, to take him to the doctor's office and then the hopital emergency room a few days later 'cause he's got gallstones & a kidney stone, anyhoo, he was all pi$$ed off about our son playing T-Ball (my step-father's idea, they paid for it & my step-dad was supposed to be his (Ben's, my son) coach.... Sorry, it's a long story, suffice to say Michael (my husband) has been really b%tchy & not because of his health issues...
So it's mostly worked out with the baseball thing, Michael's a little more willing to try to work it out now with practices and such, so Ben had practice on Saturday, grandparents picked up both kids (I also have a daughter Dorothy for those who don't know). so we had an afternoon alone.
Okay lunch, then we saw 'Jumper.' It was, meh, okay, 2 1/2 stars out of four, not horrible, not great, some good scenery and action, but Samuel L. Jackson's fake dyed-white hair was horrible! Very distracting!
I was pleasantly surprised to see that Hayden Christensen can actually act, he's still a little stiff, but sooooo much better than the 'Star Wars' movies (do not get me started on those, if I ever meet George Lucas I'm gonna b*tch-slap him & ask for my money back!!!!
) , and Rachel Bilson, cute, but not a very good actress! But good casting for their younger selves, Annasophia Robb as young Millie and Mark (?) Theirot as young David, they really looked like their older counterparts!!
Okay, that's Ange's 2 cents worth movie review! If you've got an afternoon to kill, 'Jumper' is nice escapism, brain candy movie! Check it out!
