Oh wow! Thank you for this!

First off, the title is sarcasm.

I do not like this. I never like it when a site changes.
Change is not always good. It rarely is.
I am so sick of sites feeling like change is so desperately needed.

Why does this all now look like that "Giant Bomb" site that had gotten so popular not too long ago.
Didnt a bunch of GS members get accounts there as well?

Pointless suspicion aside, "Web 2.0" is BS and having to re-learn a frequented source of online information is really aggravating.

Choice, or lack thereof is the name of the site design game.

It is just like anything else: Unless you own it, you have zero control over it.
As a member is only a visitor, they mean little to nothing when a redesign is implemented.
As a member, you are never even given an option to choose between designs.

Can I deal with new imagery? Sure. Can I handle not having my level auto fill inside a flash animation. Possibly.
Do I like how buttons are no longer buttons? Hardly.
Am I happy with feeling like I have signed up to a totally different website?
    Would you be?

I seem to be missing out.

Ugh. This is quite the frustration. I have a lot more time now, but lesser means of executing my choice of spending that free time.
    Is lesser a word?
Basically, now that I have "less work" and much more time to dedicate toward playing games, I have no games to play. Well, thats not entirely true, I do have games but no way to play them.

The PS2 broke, which is bad enough, but even if the PS2 was working, there is no TV to play it on. I have to admit, I miss Guitar Hero III, among others like GTA SA, Okami and Onimusha. I have my guitar here but cant use it. It sits in the closet, mocking me.

I also happen to be too broke to get an Xbox 360 for GTA IV, GTA IV itself or a TV to hook up an Xbox 360 to play GTA IV.
(ditto to everything above but Xbox 360 = PS3)
Funny how expensive a 360 is in this country, even funnier how much a PS3 goes for. At least the people in the store wont spin around when you ask them where a 360 is.

Then there is the PC. An area that I have been lacking in so much that I have yet to get a system that plays HL2 adequately.
No Orange Box for me, still.

    Money money money.

On the less depressing side of things, the DS seems to be holding up.
Even though I have a couple titles, its easy to get "tired" of them.
Although, The World Ends With You seems to be filling my needs for the moment. It has pretty much all the necessary elements to keep me wanting to play.
Like other RPG titles, there is: leveling up (both character and items), collecting (OMG COLLECTING), combat, dressing your character, changing character attributes, quests, and even newer things such facets as game mechanic tweaking.

The DS should keep me occupied until everything else comes.
Even though it will take FOREVER, the new TV, consoles, and titles, will all be here just in time for me to be working hard and not have time for any of it. Sad face.
I will go "mingle" with my wife now.

Its just like watching Fox News! I think these little animations they put in Guitar Hero are pretty good at providing some humor in an otherwise hand crippling game.
