All I ask for is a decent Ninja game.

Why can't they just make a simple, fun, violent ninja game? Now before you ATTACK me with shouts of Ninja Gaiden, trust me, I've played it. I first got sucked into it's nonsense when I played the demo on my PS3. The demo level was the level when you infiltrate the Ninja fortress.

Before I continue, I must state that I LOVE Japanese culture. I'm not one of those anime junkies, but I love the whole Japanese feel, which is why Okami is my favorite game. Ever.

Anyways, so it was the level when you infiltrate the ninja fortress. I played it, and I was all,"Cool, Japanese culture in a game!" Then I made the mistake of buying the game. The last thing I expected from Ninja Gaiden was having to fight off demonic creatures alongside an Uma Thurman looking vixen in some post-modern city. I wanted a traditional Japanese game! UGH! But that's not the worse part. When I think ninja, I think a sneaky figure creeping through the shadows and striking unsuspecting enemies. Ninja Gaiden is more of the game where you just run around in plain sight and chop up everything that moves, in really fancy, cool looking moves. Now believe me, Ninja Gaiden is a GREAT game, and I do like it (although I still haven't beaten it -_-) but it is not what I was expecting.

So Ninja Gaiden left me heartbroken with its lack of ninja-ness. Now fast forward several months to me buying Assassin's Creed. Also a good (albeit repetitive) game. But once again, my expectations were let down. This game has more of an element of stealth than Ninja Gaiden, but still left a lot to be desired. You cannot crawl in the shadows and strike unsuspectingly. You can blend with the crowd, but that's not ninja like! For all 9 assasinations, I was looking for something more along the Splinter Cell tradition. Strike your target secretly, and make a clean getaway, without having to dodge an infinite amount of guards. In my opinion, attacking unseen is the best way to attack. Assassin's Creed also left me hungry for Ninja action.

Now there is a naruto game coming out for PS3. But that's not the ninja I'm looking for. Those are magical ninjas. I want stealth ninjas. Like the Shadow Hand (or whatever it is) from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! ^_^

The closest I've come to my ninja nirvana is the multiplayer on Splinter Cell: Double Agent for the PS3. You get to play either as a spy or guard, but I prefer spy. The spies are like super acrobats. You get to run around, sneak in vents, use smoke bombs, sneak up and crack enemies necks, the works. It is AMAZING! However, it's probably the least played online game out there. There's only like 6 other people on at any given time. Especially with the new games like GTA4 that introduce new, albeit cliche, forms of multiplayer.

All this is why I'm excited for MGS4. Hopefully, it brings the Ninja back into STealth gameplay. I've only played the second one, and it sure did not feel like a ninja game.

That is my prayer to the gaming gods. A good ninja game. That sticks to the ninja formula of sneaking in shadows, using gadgets, and being stealthy and quick. So if any of you know of a GOOD ninja game, PLEASE let me know. And not a Splinter Cell game, I've played all those. And loved them all.

Well I COULD be like evryone else...

and type a blog about GTA 4. Heck, I think I will.

GTA 4 is great, but I do wish there were more rpg fatcors, like in San Andreas. For example, I wish you could upgrade yuor weapon handling skills (but nothing to major that would drastically change the gameplay) and your driving skills. Also, you should be able to change your appearance. Sure, Niko is great as some big-nosed foreigner, but I wish i could have made him look like I wanted him to look, like in Oblivion (except...well....better...) Also, some fable-esque things would be nice. Like if you eat too much, you'll get fat. Go to the gym, you'll get buff like Brucie (maybe you can get into the steroid trafficking/using business like him, also O_o) You should have a meter that tells you how criminal-y you are, how hungry you are, how attractive you are, etc.

Also, what'd be great would be the ability to design and pimp your own cars, with neon and spinners ad everything. Like my favorite car game, Midnight Club 3. That'd be cool.

Just a little customization would be nice int GTA. That's all.

    Best characters in brawl?

Well the BEST characters are most definetly Toon link, Lucas, and Snake.

Not Sheik. Its like between melee and brawl, sheik had a generous dose of retard juice. Because she sucks now :'( she used to be my best character.
