    Math Blaster!

So I'm cleaning my basement and Im finding all kinds of obscure PC games that I used to play as a child, I just stumbled across a game called Daggerfall (circa 1996), which some of you may know as The Elder Scrolls II, which may sound familiar to you if youve played Morrowind, or the award winning Oblivion. Made by some developers that seemed to fade into obscurity...OH WAIT THEY JUST MADE FALL OUT 3.

A golden find i must say to stumble across an early Bethesda project before they became the juggernauts they are today! Can't wait to play it and find any more gems I might have down here!

No Really No Puzzles. Can't You See I'm Busy?!

So I've been eyeing Professor Layton and the Curious Village since, well when it came out. An intriguing puzzle came can always keep me addicted and entertained, but I never really got around to it. That is until my girlfriend bought it, which I immediately "stole" for 12 hours and beat. Overall it's a really solid game, beautiful artwork, perplexing puzzles, endearing characters, but I do have one problem about it that I guess lies in the story...

A MAN IS DEAD, LEAVE THE GUY ALONE WITH YOUR PUZZLES ALREADY AND LET HIM GET ON WITH HIS INVESTIGATION.Pesky townspeople.

My favorite puzzles were ones where you would tap on an object and you would get a "hidden puzzle" which Layton or Luke would then try and throw in a convoluted tie in to the puzzle begining. Like (not actually a real example) -taps on a woman sleeping in the street- "Oh look Luke, a overdosing heroin addict relapsing in the gutters! Oh that reminds me! Did you ever hear about this puzzle..." And cue the brainteaser.

All in all a very good game, though at times hilariously ridiculous, I might actually pick up the sequel.

    PS Everyone is robots.
