  • I has the LAG!

    Finished Bad Company. Awesome game, absolutely loved playing through the single player. However, the multiplayer, while having immense potential, suffers from some of the worst lag I've seen in a game. I was literally teleporting around the map as I moved, as were other players. Horrendous! It made things almost unplayable. And standing still in an online FPS is not an option really now is it?So I've shelved that for the time being. I may resurrect it in time to see if the servers have improved things somewhat. Back to COD4 for now, methinks. Now at Level 14 I Continue »

  • Force Unleashed impressions, amongst other things..

    Earlier this week I downloaded the Force Unleashed demo to see what the game is going to eventually be like. What was presented was overall a very short segment from what appears to be the first level (but I could be wrong). It didn't feel to be providing enough to actually fully test out the control scheme and experiment with the physics etc. The game also has the feel of things like God of War - running around and smacking opponents with your lightsaber and occasionally tossing huge chunks of the environment at them.
