    Best Thursday EVER!

So... first off, the subject line. Yeah, completely sarcastic. Let me fill you in.

Thursday morning. Go to bed at around 4:30am - 5am after a good night of Call of Duty 4, what can I say... I'm addicted. And I wake up at 9:30am, so yeah, kinda sleepy.

I drink my coffee, take my shower, enjoy a bowl of cereal or two before the chaos starts.

    1) Contact vs. Ryan -

Anyone who knows anything about contacts, knows that you get that occasional 'bugger' that won't go in your damn eye. If you could call this contact anything it would be called the 'anti-bugger' bugger, for this stupid little 'mo' fo'' would NOT come out of my eye! Seriously. I thought it had got lodged in the corner of my eye next to the bridge of my nose, but lo and behold, it WASN'T THERE!!!! Guess I was just imagining **** because it got lost and was still nowhere to be found before I TRIED to leave for work.

    2) Celica vs. Ryan -

Yep. My wonderfully awesome car had decided that it didn't want to 'accept the ignition sequence' today and I almost broke my key because the ignition wouldn't turn. Peachy. Spent about 5 minutes before my car decided to actually let me TRY to leave.

    3) Ice vs. Ryan -

You know that wonderful sleet that we had on Wednesday night? It gracefully froze around my tires over night, and decided that it, also, didn't want me to get to work on time today. This is where the first call was made to MSC in a frantic hurry to announce my lateness that would ensue. I'm gonna be late, I know this for a fact at this point. Spent about 10 - 15 minutes shoveling and overrevving my car in an attempt to get it to budge from the ice fort that it had been incased in. Finally I get free from the ice prison and start my trip speeding down Lincolnway like a bat out of hell.

    4) Indiana Roads vs. Ryan (and Celi) -

I bet that anyone who is reading this can take a stab at what I'm gonna say next and be correct. You all know those wonderfully filled in potholes that grace our Indiana roads with extreme fondness? Yep, this wasn't one of them. It was, however, a pothole disguised as a filled in pothole that likes to jump out in front of oncoming traffic like a deer frolicking on the backroads. So yeah. Trapped at my Grandma's, for it was the nearest place possible, typing about my ****ty day because I have nothing else to do until 1 pm (In case you're wondering I have absolutely NO sick time left now) I now have to worry about replacing one of Celi's appendages. And it's only 11:47 am.

God, I **** love the winter.

    Mass Effect rants

Okay. So it's my 2nd week having Mass Effect rented from Gamefly and I'm starting to be happy with the fact that I didn't BUY it.

    Reason 1 -

It's got WAY more bugs in it than there should be for a shipped game. There were a number of times when I had to revert back to a save point because it either froze up OR I had discovered an amount of important metal on one of the uncharted worlds and I had gotten stuck instead it's marker OR I had fallen halfway through one of the floors and couldn't mover further.

    Reason 2 -

I'm a man of achievements. It kinda gives me a bigger purpose for beating a game, especially if it seems kinda dull. But the fact that I had spent about 23+ hours completing the game and doing absolutely every side mission possible, it didn't give me the achievements for completing most of the game and completing most of the game with my selected party members.

    Reason 3 -

When I have this many problems with a game, when I beat it, I tend to never play it again.

Thank you Gamefly for making this a $16 nuisance rather than a $60 one.
