    So I'm wondering If I download unofficial 8.0 patch and then later want to install clan quest on my second playthrough would that be alright or is clan quest 3.0 only meant to run with unofficial 7.9 patch??

    Also I see theres a basic and plus install with the unofficial patch so im just wondering because im gonna go basic 1st playthrough how would I go on about installing plus for my second playthrough? By that I mean do I need to uninstall the game to apply plus or can I just reuse the patch..?

    The CQM is built on top of the patch. It's stand-alone. Just install it over a fresh game, don't install it over the Unofficial Patch.

    I believe you need to uninstall and reinstall a fresh game when switching between basic and plus. In fact, do it whenever you change anything, this is a buggy game.

    And Plus>Basic in all ways.

    Just for your info, to switch from basic to plus or the other way around, you only need to repatch, not reinstall the whole game.
