First, the look they have for this game is an attempt to stay true to the theme of the 2D art in Red Alert 2, while bringing the graphics forward to a next-gen sharpness, they aren't intending it to look cartoony as some lame attempt at pandering to toddlers. Second, this franchise has NEVER been gritty OR extremely bloody. Not that those are bad things, but they just not conducive to Red Alert. Truly, if you were a fan of a series simply because of the look then you are far too shallow for your own good.

Again, what's up with all the kiddy rainbow colors? And units outline glow when selected? Die-hard C&C fans don't need that! It's annoying! This game is geared for both kids and people who are jumping to RTS for their first time, not die hard fans. It should have been as gritty and bloody as Company of Heroes. Damn, EA! They ruined another great franchise that has so much more potential. There are awesome RTS' such as Company of Heores, World in Conflict, and upcoming End War and all C&C can come out with is this?? Pathetic.

Funny how half the people here don't know who Greg is or Amer. Still remember that Podcast when Greg had to go for an interview.

    Nice to see them again.

Hmm, would like to be able to skip past the boring parts. Would be a great opportunity for Gamespot to get some metrics to see what their customers are interested in as well.

I tried clicking around on the timer bar to skip parts but only ended up hitting mute, surfing the web etc. and waiting for the interesting parts to show up.

Bioshock had their SecuROM removed. therefore, i bought it online with no worries..

other games, i have much worries about em . don't say Jesus' name in vain.

Jesus, people complain way too much about SecuROM, most of which is undeserved. I bought Bioshock, Mass Effect, and Spore, and guess what? Those games all ran fantastically. Best part: after confirming your copy of the game, you don't need the DVD in the drive to play it. Good stuff.

It's to bad that they are ruining Red Alert 3 with the worst DRM since StarForce. They hurt the custumer and treat them like criminals while the pirates the DRM is suppose to stop simply crack and disable the DRM. The only people EA is hurting with their ever increasing copy protection is the custumer who buys their games and pays their paychecks.

I refuse to buy this or any game that EA releases that hurts the custumer. They hurt the people who actually buy their games while the pirates who they are trying to stop are not affected by the DRM. If anything EA's DRM policy promotes piracy by making the pirate's versions better then the store bought ones. This causes many of the people who buy the game to download the pirate's cracks. With a crack the game doesn't require a CD in the drive, doesn't require online registration, and has no install limits or spyware.

Once they understand that they are causing people to download cracks by making the retail version worse, they will stop hurting the people who buy their games. Intill then the only thing companies like EA understand is a boycott. Don't buy any game that hurts the custumer like this one does.

I got to play Dead Space with a friend for three hours, I would recomend people watch Dead Space Downfall before playing this game, it rearly adds to the story of the game, and my favorite weapon during that time was one that solved puzzles and also slowed the enemy down to get a great headshot in slow mow looks insane.

Talk about beating a dead horse. How many times are they gonna show the same gameplay mechanics over and over again? We know about zero g, we know about the no pause menu, we know this stuff. Give us something cool like a demo.
