Lmao... what a piece of crap. I know that this game is just going to be a crappy knock-off of Mount and Blade: Warband that won't be able to deliver. Have you actually seen game play? When you hit and shoot people, little numbers representing damage done just bounces off their bodies and they don't even flinch... go watch gameplay of MB: Warband and then go buy it because even though it's a few years old now, I guarantee you'll get literally hundreds of game hours out of that game and every penny will be worth it.
Besides, WoTR is $30 on Steam, while MB: Warband in $20 and the Napoleonic Wars expansion is $10. So for the same price you'll get a more realistic and better multiplayer medieval combat game, AND an expansion that allows you to play as dozens of different types of historical napoleonic-era soldiers ranging from artillery men to line infantry and cavalry, on up to 200 PLAYER SERVERS. WoTR will have 64 players max on a server...Uhm do the math?
This new young generation of gamers really need to get their acts together because the hype around stupid and lackluster titles like this is starting to make developers think that's what smart gamers like me want too, not games being made better year after year, and it's getting pretty frustrating.
@Entropy730 awww ... It must be tough to be one of the only 'smart' gamers here ...Seriously. Get the fuck over yourself ego tripper.
@Entropy730 Dude, is that your review, or is that your opinion over seeing a few alpha game play "vids"? Because I'm a beta tester, and this is pretty neat. You do realize that "Paradox" made the both WoTR and MB: WB?
@WOLFMAN_III @Entropy730 Your wrong in both cases. Paradox havn't made any of the games you just said. They are only the publisher not the developer. Fatshark made War of Roses and Taleworld is the developer of Mount and Blade. BUT they could be daughter companies to Paradox since they are Swedish companys as well. That I do not know.
