I see these F2P games as giant tech demos. This is really for them to put a product on the market for people to start soaking it up and want more and to buy it, Crytech needs to make their money somewhere, I am curious as to where that will be.

Check out a making of video for Warface.
I'm not criticizing the Blacklight Retribution which is f2p too
and its developers took the game more seriously than many others...
At least I'm not seeing any negative comments about this. I hate it when people talk smack about a free to play game. If you don't like it, then just dont play it. Frankly, i rather be playing this then pay $60 bucks for something that you might regret. especially for something that looks this good.
Ppl might not know all that about crytek FPS but they are actually better than COD these days by far, maybe not as good as COD 4 but it's great FPS.
This game should be a lesson for f2p producers
(especially for ubisoft who made Ghost Recon Online
I just played for 15 mins and it suuucks)
Opinions vary, I just played for like 5 hours and I enjoyed it a lot. There are some things I'd want them to change but the game play is pertty good to me. At least it's not another rinse and clone of BF or MW.
@eb8k its awesome. you probably have no idea how to be tactical.
@Gliave They are done with the Crysis series, if I'm informed correctly.
@Gliave there was nothing particularly wrong with Crysis 2 it was just not set in a jungle, other than that the core game play stayed very close.
@clookoo213 Felt pretty linear to me mate. Not with the freedom Crysis 1 had. Additionally, the alien touch was nowhere as believable or impacting as the first part's plot and setting.
