lol
ryanell666 started playing during WotLK and is pretty furious about it
wrong,...
STARTED playing since day one
STOPPED playing during WLK (Uldar), came back for CAT and noticed too many little nerfs to the content because kids cried it was too hard, so I left again.
I thought about coming back for MoP, yet trolling these boards (figuratively) I doubt it may happen.
You don't play anymore, yet here you are starting arguments and using inflammatory language and comments. Yeah, that 'trolling' is a bit more than figurative.

So I can't come to this board and still express opinions..
..just because those opinions aren't popular, doesn't mean I'm trolling....but certainly I like to lurk around and deliver a thought provoking discussion as to what it is to really play a real MMORPG.
The biggest problem is that an MMORPG used to be designed for a niche culture of gamer, until Blizzard opened it up for the mainstream culture by trimming around all those little things that made MMO gaming great, all for the sake of better business. Then over time WoW lost that edge, and since it's the most successful MMO you have studios like Bioware following suit, proving that the entire genre is best to cater to the casuals....
As for not playing anymore, who says I'll never come back? SWTOR failed me, GW2 looks promising, but I've been burned before....I devoted 6 of the 8 years of this game life, I like to keep tabs.
that by far doesn't nullify my opinion anymore than it does yours. - May 4, 2012 7:52 am GMTryanell666 posted...

There's a difference between simply expressing your opinion for the purpose of discussion and being inflammatory about it in a place with people you know for a fact still play the game. You have been doing the latter.

Still...doesn't matter.
There is A truth to my opinion. So why should I coddle those who get hurt by it? And who I am really hurting?...who really gets hurt over the internet?...especially about this 'game'? - May 4, 2012 11:11 am GMTryanell666 posted...

Actually, it does matter (especially within the rules of the forum). Also, respect is something that matters. If you think it doesn't then I pity you but either way this discussion is over.

Something with niche appeal is fine as far as it goes, but Blizzard didn't turn into a software giant by creating games that only a handful of people will enjoy. And to be brutally honest, what you call "great", I would call "tedious". What makes your opinion more valuable than mine? - May 4, 2012 1:23 pm GMTryanell666 posted...

I have a hard time believing anyone that uses ellipses in place of proper commas or semi-colons is old enough to play since Vanilla.
Just my two cents.

no..it's over when I say it's over, because I'm finding this hilarious...
So what you are basically saying is that I'm hurting your feelings, is that it? -_-
And that would be grounds to get my posts deleted, or my account temp-banned...according to the ten command.....uh, i mean the TOU of this website.
I gave an honest, direct, accurate opinion about how I (a vet of this game) feel the current state of this game is without directly insulting anyone by name. And the only thing I'm really attacking is the issues I have with the game itself.
and although my opinion isn't popular here, you indirectly threaten me by ratting me out to the mods?..and you call me disrespectful?
You should heed your own advice about respect, when you can't even respect other people's negitive views about the game...
deal with it.
