Everything from character design and animation to the design of their powers and abilities are very well adapted from the comics. The cell-shaded graphics suits very well to the Marvel universe and the cinematics are superbly rendered. Just wished the cartoon series would look like this. Most of the sound effects are powerful and punchy, and though the music and voice-overs are nicely done, it would be perfect if there are some tie-ins with the cartoon series or even the movie trilogy.
Combat and pathfinding can be a little repetitive but at least you get to switch between 10 over characters which is worth the value already. Plus, there're tons of hidden items and unlockables to keep you busy with until the endgame. The story is very appealing which cleverly connects almost all the well-known X-Men characters and it opens up my interest into the X-Men universe as I'm not a fan of the comics. The Trivia mini-game may be a little cheesy but it's still fun to delve into those little details that makes up this fantastic comic series. Overall, it's a fun bash-em-up game if you can look past the repetition.

It is mostly well-designed, but this game has little more to offer than its premise of two rival groups joining forces.

One of the best comic-adapted games that utilizes the Marvel X-Men franchise fully.

Amazing fun, highly addictive, and easily the best X Men game I've played to date.

Nice combination of effects and true-time role playing style make this game worthy, but like all RPGs, it gets boring.

Good on the eyes and amazing for the characters, but not very fun to do the samething over and over again.
