I don't keep up with the NBA that much but I've seen plenty of games where they were saying World Peace. This is honestly the first time I've read/heard that it's Ron Artest. I had no freakin clue lol wow.

So many of these can be analyzed and understood....
Link is his name becuase originally, the devs wanted the player to feel linked with the game, that's one of the reasons he doens't talk.
Crono is a play on Chronos, the God of time more or less, seeing as time plays a large part of that game....it's understandable.
Aren't the "snake' titles just codenames, and not thier real names? I though Snake told Ocacon or that girl his real name at the end of MGS1. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought he did.
To the user that stated "Tails", that isn't his name, it's a nickname due to him having two tails. His name is really "Miles Prower".

I don't know what you're watching, but the TNT NBA crew calls him World Peace, and most of the ESPN on-air people do as well.
