Mass Effect Question

Latitude & Longitude - help?

Is there such thing as Latitude and Longitude on uncharted planets?
because I've seen some other sites thing says something like "Turian Insignia (24/54)" or something like that.

Any help would do.

There is no way to get such convenient grid coordinates on the map in Mass Effect. The guide writers are either trying to give you an approximation of where on the map they are that you will need to use guesswork to navigate to, or they are telling you how many of a given collection quest you would have if you were following a walkthrough.

Turian Insignia (24/54) thats just the # of insignias u have out of 54
