For me, the game was fun at first, but after seeing the "NOW LOADING" screen for the umpteenth time, it became annoying. The game is not really a pick up and go game unless you are playing the arena mode (don't remember the name of the mode) but it is the mode where you get to pit yourself against bosses you have defeated in game. If you have enough patience and can ignore the loading screens, the game is fun.

Pros:
The game has an easy learning curve. Took me a few minutes of practice to get the dash attack/jump down. Unlike other hack n slash games, the combat system is pretty good, enemies do not sit still and watch you kill allies, they come at you. So learn to link combos and dodge attacks at the same time. You receive 3 swords, each of them can be upgraded. So time will be spent killing monsters to collect blue crystals to turn in to level up the weapons. The music and sound effects are solid. Sometimes you might end up humming a tune.

Cons:
"NOW LOADING" screens...animated "NOW LOADING" screens...at least use better animation.
